I started painting when I had too much time on my
hands after retiring to Florida. I started with Donna Dewberry's
FolkArt OneStroke painting, but soon began to expand my painting.
I have been painting now for over 11 years.
My husband and I moved to West Virginia 3 years ago to be near
family and the hills and the mountains. My work is displayed in
Common Ground in Martinsburg, Persnickity Place in Hedgesville
and the Farmer's Market in Inwood. I started painting folk art
landscapes and that seems to be my favorite thing to do. I paint
on canvas, wood, slate, glass and just about anything. For the
past several years I have been painting Christmas balls. They
can be found at any of the locations I consign at after the 1st
of October.
I give classes at the Heritage Craft Center and also do commissioned
work.
I can be reached at 304-839-7839.
